Abstract
"APARELHO PARA GUIAR UM FIO GUIA ATRAVéS DO TECIDO DO CORPO, APARELHO PARA DETECTAR FLUXO NEOVASCULAR ATRAVéS DE UMA OBSTRUçãO EM UM VASO SANGUìNEO, E, MéTODO PARA DETERMINAR FLUXO NEOVASCULAR EM UM VASO". Métodos e aparelho para guiar um fio guia através de um vaso sang³íneo são descritos. Uma modalidade exemplar inclui um fio guia (20) acoplada a um sistema de guiamento interferométrico (22). O sistema de guiamento interferométrico é configurado para fornecer informação de formação de imagem do vaso (24). O sistema de guiamento também inclui um circuito de detecção de fluxo para executar análise de desvio Doppler para determinar a presença de canais neovasculares através de uma obstrução no vaso. A informação do fluxo neovascular é usada pelo operador do fio guia para guiar o fio guia através da obstrução.
