Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A GERAçãO DE UM GáS NO LOCAL". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho e a um método para a geração de quantidades relativamente pequenas de gás de halógeno realizada no local, de preferência cloro gasoso. O aparelho possui pelo menos uma célula eletrolítica tendo uma seção de anólito e uma seção de católito. Pelo menos uma dessas seções é conectada, por meio de condutos fluidos, a um aquecedor de fluido que aquece uma solução de eletrólito antes de seu ingresso dentro da seção. O aquecimento também facilita a circulação da solução de eletrólito através do aparelho por meio de um efeito de termossifão. O elemento de aquecimento, por sua vez, é conectado a um meio de reabastecimento de eletrólito. O aparelho inclui pelo menos um separador de gás, que separa o gás produzido na célula eletrolítica a partir da solução de eletrólito. O aparelho carece de um reservatório para o armazenamento de solução de eletrólito.
