Abstract

COMPOSIçãO ANTICOAGULANTE PARA MOTORES. genericamente, esta invenção se refere a uma composição anticongelante, que pode ser usada nos sistemas de refrigeração de motores de combustão interna, por exemplo, em motores a diesel de uso pesado, caminhões de uso leve e carros. A composição anticongelante pode ser adicionada à água ou a outro refrigerante líquido adequado no sistema de refrigeração, para reduzir a temperatura do ponto de congelamento do refrigerante e inibir a corrosão de componentes metálicos associada ao sistema de refrigeração. A composição anticongelante é particularmente bem adequada, embora não exclusivamente, para uso com água dura. A composição anticongelante inclui um componente ácido orgânico compreendendo ácido adípico e pelo menos um dentre ácido benzóico e um ou mais ácidos dicarboxílicos C9 - C12, ou sais desses ácidos. A composição anticongelante também inclui outros aditivos anticorrosivos, por exemplo, molibdato, nitrito, nitrato, silicato, azóis e vários agentes de tampão.
