Abstract
"SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO QAM HIERáRQUICO COM FATOR DE AGRUPAMENTO VARIADO". Um sistema QAM hierárquico permite a transmissão de diferentes fontes embutindo os pontos da constelação relativa. Um sistema de transmissão QAM, inclui uma fonte de um fluxo de dados de nível (1) e nível (2) , cada fluxo de dados transportando símbolos sucessivos. Um transmissor de QAM hierárquico, acoplado na fonte de fluxo de dados de nível (1) e nível (2) gera um sinal QAM hierárquico no qual um símbolo de nível (1) é representado por um ponto de dados em um de quatro quadrantes no plano I-Q, e um símbolo de nível (2) é representado pelo ponto de dados em um dos quatro subquadrantes circundando um ponto central do quadrante contendo o ponto de dados de nível (1). O ponto de dados de nível (2) é separado do ponto central por um fator de agrupamento ajustado para mais estreitamente igualar o desempenho da taxa de erro de bits dos fluxos de dados de nível (1) e nível (2).
