Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA GERAR UMA MISTURA GASOSA NãO-INFLAMáVEL". é descrito um método e aparelho para gerar uma mistura gasosa não-inflamável a partir de um primeiro gás inflamável e de um segundo gás, em que o dito primeiro gás é inflamável. O ar pode ser extraído da atmosfera ou do recipiente de armazenamento para ser tratado. O ar é circulado num conduto (22) por meio de um soprador (14). Um gás inflamável é injetado (12) no conduto, onde ele é diluído rapidamente a um nível abaixo de seu limite de inflamabilidade. O método é adequado para tratamento automático não-assistido por um período de tempo prolongado, ou numa assim chamada defumação "com uma carga/aplicação rápida", em que as concentrações e vazões são muito superiores, e o processo se dá sob supervisão manual.
