Abstract

"MANCAL DE GáS E MéTODO PARA FAZER UM MANCAL DE GáS PARA UMA MáQUINA DE PISTãO LIVRE". Uma estrutura de mancal de gás incluindo um núcleo cilíndrico ( 30 ) e uma luva cilíndrica ( 50 ). O núcleo ( 30 ) possui uma superfície voltada radialmente para fora com as ranhuras longitudinal e circunferencial formadas no mesmo. A luva ( 50 ) possui uma superfície voltada radialmente para dentro que limita vedantemente a superfície de núcleo externa. A superfície da luva ( 50 ) voltada para dentro cobre as ranhuras, definindo trajetórias de fluxo de fluido, de preferência gás, dentro de cada ranhura. As trajetórias de fluxo de gás permitem que o gás flua do espaço de trabalho para as passagens radiais formadas através da parede lateral da luva, desse modo formando um mancal de gás.
