Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PAGING PROFUNDO". Um método para paging profundo em um sistema de comunicação empregando códigos de canalização ortogonais, tais como seq³ências Walsh, de comprimento pré-determinado m, que não requeira um canal de paging de alta potência. O método inclui os passos de geração de uma mensagem de canal de paging que é combinada com uma seq³ência Walsh tendo um comprimento maior ou igual a 2m e de transmissão da mensagem de canal de paging a uma taxa de dados menor que 480 bits por segundo (bps). Ao transmitir a mensagem do canal de paging em uma baixa taxa de dados e integrando a energia coletada sobre um período mais longo, por um fator da ordem de 1000, a mensagem é capaz de penetrar construções e outras estruturas ou ambientes de alta atenuação, assim permitindo paginar com sucesso um terminal de usuário que encontra-se dentro da tal estrutura ou área. Preferencialmente, a mensagem de canal de paging é formada usando-se uma seq³ência Walsh auxiliar da ordem de 65536 chips de comprimento e a taxa de dados é menor que 10 bps.
