Abstract

"SUSPENSãO MODULAR, E, PROCESSO PARA INSTALAR UMA SUSPENSãO MODULAR EM UMA ESTRUTURA DE VEìCULO". Uma suspensão modular (10) adaptada para montar em uma estrutura de veículo que tem um par de trilhos de estrutura espaçados em forma de C (12). A suspensão modular compreende um par de conjuntos de braço de arraste (14) conectados por uma viga transversal (50) e uma conexão de braço de arraste (16). Cada um dos conjuntos de braço de arraste compreende um suporte de estrutura (18) adaptado para ser montado a um dos trilhos de estrutura e um braço de arraste que tem uma porção montada de maneira pivotante ao suporte de estrutura para movimento pivotante ao redor de um eixo pivó. A conexão de braço de arraste (42, 52) se estende entre e é acoplada a uma porção dos braços de arraste voltada para trás do eixo pivó. A viga transversal se estende entre e conecta aos suportes de estrutura, de tal modo que uma abertura de trilho (56) que tem uma forma para receber de maneira deslizante pelo menos uma porção de um dos trilhos de estrutura é formada entre cada um dos suportes de estrutura e a viga transversal. A suspensão modular pode ser montada nos trilhos de estrutura alinhando cada um dos trilhos de estrutura com cada uma das aberturas de trilho e movendo a suspensão modular longitudinalmente em relação aos trilhos de estrutura.
