Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA A EXTRAçãO DE áGUA EM UM PROCESSO DE LIMPEZA A SECO ENVOLVENDO UM SOLVENTE à BASE DE SILICONE E MéTODOS DE MELHORIA DO PROCESSO DE LIMPEZA". Invention Patent: "SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WATER EXTRACTION IN A DRY CLEANING PROCESS INVOLVING A SILICON-BASED SOLVENT AND METHODS OF IMPROVING THE CLEANING PROCESS". A system and method are provided for separating water from a solvent in a dry cleaning application. According to the invention, an inlet is capable of receiving a mixture of dry cleaning fluid based on silicone and water from a condenser of a dry cleaning apparatus. A chamber is attached to the entrance to receive the mixture from the entrance. A porous structure is positioned in the chamber to separate dry cleaning fluid and water. The dry cleaning fluid passes through pores in the porous structure. An outlet is coupled to the chamber, for the removal of the dry cleaning fluid from the chamber in the substantial absence of water. A system for cleaning articles comprises circulating siloxane solvent through a basket, draining the basket into tanks, centrifuging articles and then drying the articles and recovering the siloxane solvent and then cooling of said articles and the removal of said articles. In addition, the ability to remove articles after centrifugation and transferring the articles to a recovery dryer allows for greater efficiency.
