Abstract

A method for separating water from a solvent during a dry wash, comprising the steps of: (a) immersing the items to be washed in a dry cleaning liquid including a siloxane composition; (b) stir the articles in the siloxane composition; (c) remove a mixture of the dry wash liquid and any proportion of water from the items; (d) receive the vapors; (e) induce a flow of concentrated vapors through a coalescing medium; and (f) separate the dry cleaning liquid from the water. <EMI FILE = "00053297_1" ID = "1" MFI = JPEG>
