Abstract
"POLIFOSFATO DE ALTO TEOR DE POTáSSIO E MéTODO PARA SUA PREPARAçãO". São revelados um vidro de polifosfato de sódio-potássio misto com uma alta razão de teor de potássio para sódio e um baixo nível de material insolúvel e um método para sua produção. O vidro de polifosfato é usado em alimento de teor de sódio reduzido, especialmente bebidas e produtos de carne. O polifosfato tem a fórmula (K,Na)~ (n+2)~0(PO~ 3~)~ n~, em que a razão de potássio para sódio é cerca de 0,5 a 3,8; o valor médio de n é maior do que 10; e pelo menos 85% da espécie de fosfato compreendem mais do que três unidades de fosfato. O material contém menos do que 10% em peso de material insolúvel.
