Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MATERIAIS EM LAMINAS FIBROSAS FLEXìVEIS, RESISTENTES AO CORTE E ABSORVENTES". A presente invenção provê um substrato fibroso, absorvente de líquidos (2), apresentando uma pluralidade de células descontínuas nas quais se encontra disposto um segundo material. Este segundo material é selecionado dentre uma ampla variedade de sólidos organicos e inorganicos, os quais podem prover um efeito reforçado, de tal forma que um instrumento afiado seja impedido de passar através da nova estrutura composta. Os materiais de reforço (1) ficam dispostos segundo um arranjo descontínuo, em uma formato celular no substrato fibroso, com isso provendo uma trajetória para líquidos a serem absorvidos no referido substrato fibroso (2), enquanto os materiais de reforço (1) em referência proveêm resistência à penetração de instrumentos de bordas afiadas. Quando dispostos desta forma, a flexibilidade é mantida uma vez que os materiais de reforço (1) não ficam dispostos segundo um modelo contínuo. De preferência, o modelo disposto é livre de regiões lineares que proveêm uma linha contínua de penetração para bordas afiadas. Mais preferivelmente, o modelo é desenhado segundo um molde de formatos que se travam reciprocamente, que restringem as referidas regiões lineares a comprimentos essencialmente curtos. O referido molde de reforço celular pode ser moldado em relevo acima do referido substrato fibroso absorvente ou pode ser substancialmente coplanar em relação ao referido substrato fibroso. O referido substrato composto pode ainda ser respaldado com um camada impermeável a líquidos (3) como camada separada aplicada ao mesmo, à superfície de fundo ou como um revestimento aplicado. A referida superfície impermeável à líquidos (3) pode ser selecionada de maneira útil com um coeficiente de atrito alto para prover uma superfície antiderrapante.
