Abstract

"ARTIGOS DE NANOCOMPOTOS E PROCESSO PARA PREPARá-LOS". A presente invenção compreende um processo melhorado para fazer um polímero estrutural espumado, uma película, folha ou tubo de polímero em multicamadas, um perfil de polímero por pultrusão, uma pré-forma de polímero reforçado com fibra extrudado moldada por compressão, um cordão de polímero espumado, e um artigo de polímero formado por SCORIM. O melhoramento inclui a etapa de dispersar um material de silicato em multicamadas com o polímero tal que o polímero tenha dispersado no mesmo camadas individuais de material de silicato, camadas duplas de material de silicato, camadas triplas de material de silicato, quatro camadas de material de silicato, cinco camadas de material de silicato, e mais que cinco camadas de material de silicato, o porcentual em volume de uma, duas, três, quatro e cinco camadas de material de silicato sendo maior que o porcentual em volume das mais que cinco camadas de material de silicato. Em cada uma destas concretizações, um importante benefício da presente invenção é a orientação do plano das camadas de material de silicato. Preferivelmente, a maioria das camadas de material de silicato têm substancialmente a mesma orientação dentro de trinta graus de ângulo. Tal orientação melhora as propriedades do produto e provê uma maneira prática para fazer produtos maiores. A quantidade de material de silicato em multicamadas usado é preferivelmente entre um e vinte por cento.
