Abstract

"SISTEMA DE CINTA PARA PROTEGER UM ELEMENTO MARINHO CILìNDRICO DE VIBRAçãO INDUZIDA POR VóRTICE". é provido um sistema de cinta (12) para proteger um elemento marinho cilíndrico (6) de vibração induzida por vórtice. O sistema de cinta (12) compreende, pelo menos, dois membros de revestimento (16A, 16B) formando um cilindro oco, definindo uma passagem oca cilindrica, destinada a receber o elemento marinho (6), o cilíndro oco sendo provido de uma cinta que se estende ao longo da superficie externa do cilindro oco, de forma a reduzir vibrações induzidas por vórtice no elemento marinho.
