"SISTEMA DE CINTA PARA PROTEGER UM ELEMENTO MARINHO CILìNDRICO DE VIBRAçãO INDUZIDA POR VóRTICE". é provido um sistema de cinta (12) para proteger um elemento marinho cilíndrico (6) de vibração induzida por vórtice. O sistema de cinta (12) compreende, pelo menos, dois membros de revestimento (16A, 16B) formando um cilindro oco, definindo uma passagem oca cilindrica, destinada a receber o elemento marinho (6), o cilíndro oco sendo provido de uma cinta que se estende ao longo da superficie externa do cilindro oco, de forma a reduzir vibrações induzidas por vórtice no elemento marinho."BELT SYSTEM TO PROTECT A CYLINDRICAL MARINE ELEMENT OF VORTICLE-INDUCED VIBRATION". a belt system (12) is provided to protect a marine cylindrical element (6) from vortex-induced vibration. The belt system (12) comprises at least two coating members (16A, 16B) forming a hollow cylinder, defining a cylindrical hollow passage, intended to receive the marine element (6), the hollow cylinder being provided with a belt which extends along the outer surface of the hollow cylinder, in order to reduce vortex-induced vibrations in the marine element.
