"PLANTAS APRESENTANDO CAPACIDADE REPRODUTIVA MODIFICADA". A invenção refere-se a plantas apresentando capacidade de reprodução modificada. Em particular, refere-se a um promotor específico de tecido reprodutivo, o promotor PrAG1 isolado a partir de Pinus radiata, e seu uso na promoção de transcrição/expressão de genes associados em tecido reprodutor de planta, incluindo para o propósito de produção de plantas que apresentam capacidade de reprodução reduzida ou que são estéreis.
