Abstract

<B>MéTODOS E APARELHOS PARA CARACTERIZAR O DESEMPENHO DE UMA REDE SEM FIO<D> Técnicas para determinação de parâmetros de rede em, por exemplo, um sistema implementado por processador para caracterizar, ajustar ou otimizar o desempenho de uma rede sem fio. Em uma modalidade ilustrativa, valores de um ou mais parâmetros de ligação da rede sem fio são interpolados ao longo de bordas em uma malha de pontos de dados derivada pelo menos em parte de dados de localização de rodovia caracterizando uma área servida pela rede sem fio. Uma medida do desempenho da rede, por exemplo, uma medida de cobertura baseada em relação de sinal piloto/interferência, pode ser gerada utilizando os valores interpolados. As bordas da malha têm associadas a elas um conjunto de pesos de borda representativos de tráfego na rede sem fio. Os pesos de borda podem ser ajustados de modo a estarem de acordo com os dados disponíveis de tráfego de rede.
