Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"VEDAçãO MECâNICA PARA COMPRESSOR"<D>. Anel correspondente 31, que encontra-se no lado estacionário, é formado de um material autolubrificante e é provido, em sua extremidade virada para um anel de vedação 32, com uma projeção deslizante circunferencialmente contínua 31a. O anel de vedação 32, no lado de rotação, é feito de um material deslizante que apresenta um módulo de Young maior do que o material autolubrificante e é montado em um eixo giratório 2 através de um empanque de eixo 34 para se mover na direção axial. Uma vez que nenhuma projeção deslizante é provida no anel de vedação 32, o comprimento axial L da porção do anel de vedação que recebe uma diferença de pressão entre a pressão e a pressão atmosférica é encurtado. Graças a isto e devido ao módulo de Young grande, é restringida a deformação devido à diferença de pressão, sendo assim restringido um desgaste discrepante da superfície de vedação S provocado pela deformação.
