Abstract
<B>SISTEMA PARA FORNECER LARGURA DE BANDA DE SATéLITE EM DEMANDA EMPREGANDO FORMATAçãO DE QUADRO DE LIGAçãO ASCENDENTE PARA SUAVIZAR E MITIGAR INSTABILIDADE E ALTERAR DINAMICAMENTE NúMEROS DE CANAIS DE DADOS E DE CONTENçãO<D> Um método de transmitir dados multiplexados por divisão de tempo, de um terminal de satélite para um satélite, em que o terminal de satélite recebe um comando indicando para transmitir dados durante um quadro que comprende uma pluralidade de intervalos de tempo de acordo com um esquema de reordenação de intervalo de tempo. O esquema de reordenação de intervalo de tempo é selecionado para dispersar dados de terminais de satélite respectivos para intervalos de tempo diferentes por todos os quadros. The time slot reordering scheme is selected to spread data from respective satellite terminals to different time intervals across all frames. A processor monitors the use of channels by the satellite terminals, stores bandwidth requests using queues, allocates channels according to bandwidth requests and a bandwidth allocation algorithm, and transmits channel allocations in one painting. Time intervals not allocated to any of the satellite terminals are containment channels. The number of containment channels changes dynamically, depending on the demand for the plurality of channels through the satellite terminals. Queues are provided for each channel to store high and low priority rate requests and high and low priority volume requests. The bandwidth allocation algorithm determines queue preemption and allocation priorities.
