Abstract
''INTERFERÈMETRO MACH-ZEHNDER DE FIBRA óPTICA EMPREGANDO CURVATURAS EM MINIATURA'' Um Interferómetro Mach Zehnder de fibra óptica inclui uma primeira e uma segunda fibras ópticas e um revestimento, primeiro e segundo acopladores, em que o revestimento da primeira fibra óptica é acoplado com o revestimento da segunda fibra óptica. A primeira fibra óptica inclui um primeiro braço interferente alongado, em que a primeira fibra óptica se estende entre os primeiro e segundo acopladores. O primeiro braço interferente inclui uma curvatura em miniatura formada nele. A segunda fibra óptica inclui um segundo braço interferente alongado se estendendo entre os primeiro e segundo acopladores e também pode incluir uma curvatura em miniatura formada nele. As curvaturas em miniatura são contempladas como sendo acondicionadas ou não acondicionadas. As fibras podem apresentar diferentes coeficientes de expansão térmica para manter as diferenças do comprimento do caminho dos braços interferentes.
