Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"SCOROTRON DE CA"<D>. Em um aparelho de formaçào de imagem eletrostatografica empregando pelo menos um dispositivo de carregamento, um scorotron que consiste em um ou mais fiossustentados em blocos isolados espaçados entre a superfície fotocondutora e a superfície isolada de condutora paralela à mesma. Uma tela ou grade é interposta entre os fios corona e a superfície fotocondutora e a grade é mantida em um potencial, grosseiramente, igual ao potencial desejado na superfície fotocondutora. A geometria dos scorotrons, os fios individuais são afastados de 12,7 a 38,1 milímetros (1/2 a 1 1/2) afastados e são espaçados da grade por cerca de 19 milímetros (3/4 de uma polegada). Eletrodos de intensificação de campo são locados na tela e são polarizados no mesmo potencial que a tela. O(s) eletrodo(s) de intensificação de campo melhoram a performance elétrica.
