Abstract

"MáQUINA MODULáVEL PARA EXTRAçãO E RECUPERAçãODE óLEO ESSENCIAL DE FRUTAS CìTRICAS". A presenteinvenção trata de uma máquina modulável, utilizada para extrair erecuperar óleo essencial de frutas cítricas tais como limão, laranja,tangerina, grapefruit, etc., sem a remoção da casca, através demicroperfuração da mesma e ruptura das células de óleo. O óleoassim extraído, é capturado em água formando uma emulsãoaquosa. A máquina desenvolvida compreende basicamente umconjunto de discos dentados (9) montados sobre respectivos eixossuportes (8); uma estrutura de base (1), em cuja porção inferiorencontra-se instalado um conjunto de transmissão formado porpolias (2) e correntes ou correias dentadas (3) acionadas por ummotor (4); conjunto de eixos suportes (8) dotados de movimentaçãorotacional e axial alternada, através de um conjunto deacionamento (10) interligado à bielas (11) que transmitemmovimento alternado às manivelas (12) conectadas, de formaalternada, às extremidades (13) dos ditos eixos suportes (8); tanquede emulsão (15) dotado lateralmente de coletores (16); placavertedoura (30); conjunto de limpeza dos discos (9); unidade delavagem e secagem das frutas; e sistema de lubrificaçãoautomática para aplicação de óleo e graxa em pontos específicos."MODULABLE MACHINE FOR EXTRACTION AND RECOVERY OF ESSENTIAL OIL FROM CITRUS FRUITS". The present invention deals with a modular machine, used to extract and recover essential oil from citrus fruits such as lemon, orange, mandarin, grapefruit, etc., without removing the peel, through its perforation and rupture of the oil cells. The oil, thus extracted, is captured in water forming an aqueous emulsion. The developed machine basically comprises a set of toothed discs (9) mounted on the respective support brackets (8); a base structure (1), in the lower portion of which is installed a transmission set formed by pulleys (2) and toothed chains or belts (3) driven by an engine (4); set of supporting axes (8) endowed with alternating rotational and axial movement, through a drive set (10) connected to the connecting rods (11) which transmit alternate movement to the cranks (12) connected, alternately, to the ends (13) of said support axes (8); emulsion tank (15) equipped laterally with collectors (16); weir plate (30); disk cleaning set (9); fruit washing and drying unit; and automatic lubrication system for applying oil and grease to specific points.
