Abstract

"ENGATE DE QUINTA RODA". Um engate de quinta roda compreendendo uma placa de topo bifurcada com uma garganta terminal sem saída para a recepção de um pino-mestre cooperante, uma garra articulada pivotável entre uma posição fechada através da garganta e uma posição aberta livre da garganta, a dita garra tendo uma superfície traseira para engajamento por um cilindro de compressão de travamento, um cilindro de compressão de travamento deslocável entre uma posição de destravamento retraída fora de engajamento com a garra e uma posição de travamento estendida, engajável com a garra, o mecanismo de cunha engajando o cilindro de compressão de travamento para o ajuste da posição à frente-atrás do cilindro de compressão de travamento para acomodar desgaste da dita garra, a superfície traseira da garra tendo uma primeira porção traseira e uma segunda porção de superfície traseira deslocada para trás desde a primeira porção de superfície traseira, o cilindro de compressão tendo uma primeira porção de superfície frontal e uma segunda porção de superfície frontal, deslocada para trás desde a primeira porção de superfície frontal, a primeira e segunda porções de superfície traseira da garra sendo engajável com a respectiva primeira e segunda porções de superfície frontal do cilindro de compressão, em engajamento de travamento total do cilindro de compressão de travamento com a garra, e a primeira porção de superfície frontal do cilindro de compressão sendo engajável com a segunda porção de superfície traseira da garra, se o cilindro de compressão não puder se deslocar para o total engajamento de travamento em virtude de ajuste excessivo do mecanismo de cunha.
