Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for making hollow elements, intended for bracelets and shingles, mainly of gold and silver, which is used in the jewelry industry.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
There is a known method [1] for the manufacture of hollow jewelry composite wire, according to which, as a first step, a component plate is prepared by hot or cold processing of rolled bands. The plate is composed of two layers, one of which is an alloy containing precious metals, in particular gold. The other layer consists of base metals or alloys. The thickness ratio of the two layers is chosen depending on the nature of the jewelry to be produced. The method also includes inserting a metal cylindrical rod into a precious metal alloy tube, preferably gold obtained by casting and possibly calibrated by stretching. This tube has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the said rod. The composite element thus obtained is stretched and passed through nozzles and subjected to chemical reaction to facilitate its removal.
A major disadvantage of this method is that it requires preformed precious metal blanks and makes the manufacturer of this type of jewelry dependent.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is an object of the invention to provide a method for the manufacture of hollow elements for different types of jewelry, in which the technological dependence on the presence of a finished precious metal tube element is closed and the cycle for the production of hollow elements is closed.
The proposed method begins with the casting of precious metal plates. The plates are then drawn to a predetermined thickness by passing them through rollers and cut to width. The plates pass several times through cylinders with different knurls and then they are punched. At the same time, a base metal filler suitable for the respective plate is drawn. Then a filler is placed on each plate and passed together through nozzles. The resulting composite elements are twisted by a lathe and wound on profile mandrels. They are then returned by heating to a redness of the metal and immersed in alcohol for a few seconds in order to keep the shaped hollow elements in order to preserve the mandrel shape. When heated, the filling burns. The hollow elements are cleared by further treatment with nitric acid. The mandrel is then removed. The hollow elements are cut and individual rings are obtained, which are joined together by bonding and soldering. The brazing of the rings is done with gas, oxygen and solder and argon laser welding. The jointed rings are treated with acid and dusted and sanded. The rings are then polished, rotating sequentially for 120 minutes in a magnetic drum with shampoo and small metal particles; swirling in aqueous medium with plastic crumbs or molds for 280 min; subjected to dry polishing in a blade and polishing machine for 180 minutes; are polished by hand on a polymar. Finally, the fused rings are placed in an ultrasonic bath and born.
The advantage of the method is the closure of the cycle in the production of hollow elements for the purposes of jewelry.
Examples of carrying out the invention
The invention is illustrated by the following example.
2The metal is molded into a plate. It is then rolled into different thicknesses (from 0.50-0.60 to 0.10 mm) depending on the profile, and in order to be malleable the material is converted to alcohol with each change of thickness. The plate is then cut to the required size as width. The plate is then passed through a nozzle by placing a pre-prepared plastic or copper filling to preserve a particular shape. The filling is drawn onto the pull-out boards as needed2

66006 Blind profiles and sizes. The filler strips are then drawn through the nozzles to obtain the desired shape (hollow tube element). Each width and thickness of the plate depends on the profile of the nozzle through which the plate passes to form the required section. In order for the material to become malleable, the elements are returned by heating the burner or furnace at the desired temperature to the redness of the metal before each subsequent step and immersing them in alcohol for a few seconds to cool.
The profiles are triangular, square, rectangular, elliptical, semi-circular, circular, trapezoidal and are rolled on a special machine on the respective profile mandrels, which are also in different sizes and cross-sections: triangular, square, rectangular, elliptical, semicircular, semi-circular, semi-circular trapezoidal, hexagonal, star-shaped, oval and more. The profiles are in different sizes, depending on the model of the product. The material exiting the filling nozzles is twisted. After being wound on the corresponding mandrel, the wound material is converted into alcohol to retain the mandrel shape. When the mandrels are reciprocated, the filler is heated by heating, thus preserving the cavity and shape of the plate. After the filling has burned, the hollow elements are treated with nitric acid to clean the product. The mandrel itself has a slightly conical longitudinal section so that the rings wound on it can be removed freely after surgery. The coil formed by the winding is cut and rings are obtained. The rings thus obtained are tied and soldered. The soldering of the rings is done with gas, oxygen and solder and argon laser welding. The finished products are boiled in acid, then polished, before being dusted and sanded. When polishing, hollow elements are put into a magnetic shampoo drum that contains a small amount of metal particles that, when swirling, polishes each cavity of the product. The process takes 120 minutes. This is followed by an operation in an aqueous medium - in a drum containing plastic molds that perform the next 280 min polishing step, The third 180 min polishing step is dry polishing in a machine full of bran and polirpast. The last stage of polishing is done manually on a polishing machine. The product is then washed in an ultrasonic bath. The white rings in the articles are further born to give a final shine and a good highlight between the white and yellow colors of the gold.
