Ефикасността е изпитана в лабораторни и полски опити. Установено е, че ларвите във всички възрасти се интоксикират - младите загиват по-бързо и при по-ниски концентрации. 15 Чувствителността на възрастните ларви (IV възраст) и на имагото е приблизително еднаква, при това те обикновено са устойчиви на препарати. Използвано е средство в концентрация 0,1%. Най-важното начално действие на 20 средството е спирането на храненето, след което вредителите се парализират. Прекратяването на храненето е дълготрайно при интоксикираните насекоми и не се възстановява. В засегнатите насекоми се появяват признаци на сто25 машна парализа - от устния отвор изтича кафява течност, а от аналния - кашави до втечнени екскременти, което е по-силно изразено при по-големите ларви и имагото. При тези признаци младите ларви загиват бързо - за 30 10-15 h. After death, the body 35 of the young larvae darkens very quickly, the color of the adults persists for a few days reddish-orange and then dark brown, and the eliters towards the end of the abdomen dissolve and show the edges of the thin wings. The bio40 logical efficacy achieved on the third day after spraying was 95% and on the seventh day 100% (see Table 1).

Борбата срещу листоминиращите мухи е много трудна, поради скрития начин на живот на ларвата в паренхима на листата, при което се разрушават клетките, а тя се храни със съдържанието им. Когато завърши развитието, ларвата прави отвор на епидермиса и излиза да какавидира. Проведени са опити с гербера разсад и растения на цвята първа и втора година; хризантема - на цвят и млади растения; домати и краставици - млади растения плододаващи. Използвано е средството в концентрация 0,12%. Ефектът от приложението на 5 препарата се изразява в умиране на ларвите в мините. Листоминиращите мухи се потискат изцяло след 2-3 пръскания през 7 дни при всякаква плътност при посочените култури. Биологичната ефикасност срещу листоминираща10 та муха е от 80 до 99%.
