Abstract

The composite material produced according to the method is used in shipbuilding and aircraft engineering for the manufacture of tanks, hulls or facings for the industry. It has fine-grain homogenous structure without any internal inclusions. The material has at least two constituents which are mixed in a container and are subjected to vibrations at a frequency close to the mean resonance frequency of each of the constituents or of the container, preferably 30-180 Hz. The constituents are degassed and are bound together by means of heating to the melting temperature of a matrix component or by polymerization. At least one intensifying and at least one matrix component are used. The vibration is transffered to the mixture by the matrix component, by the intensifying component or by the container. Microspheres of inorganic or organic origin, ceramic crystals or fibres of textile or inorganic materials can be used as intensifying components.
