Abstract
The device is applicable for treatment of gaseous and gaseous-dispersed mixtures, water and water-dispersed systems in order to achieve physical, chemical and bacterial purification, for deodoration and disinfection of waste water and gases and also for storage of food products. It has a simple design and reduced inlet pressure and flow rate of the treated gas. The device consists of inlet chamber (2), filled with dielectric material, with inlet orifice (1), which is placed tangentially to the chamber (2). The outlet orifice (7) is placed coaxially on one side of the chamber, along its altitude. The other side of the chamber is connected to a swirl chamber (3), which has an electricity conducting end piece (5). The swirl chamber (3) is filled with electricity conducting material and is connected to one of the poles of a high voltage source, whose other pole is connected to the electricity conducting end piece (5), which is electrically insulated from the swirl chamber (3).<IMAGE>
