Abstract

The method is applied for determining the geo-mechanical properties of rocks, drilled-off for exploration and utilization of oil, gas, coal and other mineral resources drilling, as well as for exploration and development of mine and hydraulic structures. It is applicable with rock varieties, for exploration of areas with intensive fissuration and karsting at low drilling cost. The method consists in the following. Rock particles with a diameter of 1 to 2 mm, binding agent of the rock sludge in a quantity of 90 to 95 per cent and resin from 5 to 10 per cent are pressed under a pressure of 100 to 180 MPa and then are baked at a temperature of 1 to 100 degrees C with subsequent ageing for 7 to 10 days.<IMAGE>
