The antiburning paste is applied in cast iron moulding, and in particular, in layering an antiburning surface on casting units and hearts. It has a very good sedimentational resistance; is laid as a strong and uniform film and may be used for big-size and big-thickness cast iron mouldings. The antiburning paste is on a water base and contains in mass part.: black graphite 15-60; silvery graphite 5-12; ethyl-alcohol 7-10, microfiller 1-5 and water 15-25 by adding additionally a polymeric water dispersion of 6 to 20, preferably methacrylate latex, polyvinilacetate glue or Butadiene-Styrol latex.
