Метод за получаване на метални хелати на лигниноцелулозна база, характеризиращ се с това, че лигниноцелулоза в раздробено и/или хидролизирано и/или изсушено състояние се окислява при 30 до 100'с в продължение на 0,5 до 12 часа с 4 до 12 об.части от 6 до 65%-на водна азотна киселина на 1 об. Част изходно сухо вещество и получената смес взаимодействува с алкални, борни, амониеви или алкалоземни соли, соли на металите от трета и четвърта преходна група и/или техни комплекси, които имат по-слаба стабилност отколкото съответният хелатен комплекс, респ.
