Abstract

The drum screen, in particular that for a mill with autogenous (semi-autogenous) crushing of ores is used in the ore preparation for dressing of mined materials in the mining industry and in the classification of aggregates in civil engineering. By it, more than two fractions of preset grain size distribution parameters are separated. The drum screen comprises a revolving cylindrical perforated drum (5), connected to a driving unit (2). To the inner surface of the perforated drum (5), a discharging element in the form of a spiral (6) is fitted. Chutes are provided for the discharge of fractions, as well as a collector (8) with sprayer nozzles for water. To a discharge bushing (3) of the crusher (1), by means of a supporting flange (4), the perforated drum (5) is mounted in which a second perforated drum (7) is fitted, also connected to the supporting flange (4). The discharge element to the inner surface of the second perforated drum (7) is in the form of discharging segments (9). The driving unit (2) is connected to the discharging bushing (3), and collector (8) with the nozzles is mounted internally along the central axis of the second perforated drum (7). The perforated surfaces of each of drums (5, 7) is made of screening panels (12). The second perforated drum (7) is divided into two sectors (10, 11) by means of a division line, formed by the supporting flange (4).
