Abstract

The method and the device find application in electric drives operating with frequency-pulse control and in pulse inverters of the type of DC current into DC current and DC current into AC current. They ensure optimum mode of operation of the DC current source by maintaining practically constant voltage at the source output, the energy being taken up in portions, depending on the momentum power of the current source. No expensive devices are used such as batteries, especially in powerful DC current sources. By the method the energy of the DC current source, by a special device is transferred in batches by frequency-pulse converter to the user. Device (1) consists of a comparator unit (2) to one of the inputs of which reference voltage is coupled, and its other input is connected to the middle point of the voltage divider (3) to the input of which the following are connected in parallel: capacitor (4), DC current source (5) and the input of the power unit (6) of the frequency-pulse converter (7), and the output of the unit (2) is coupled to the input of the control unit (8) of converter (7). 3 claims, 2 figures
