Abstract

The protected connection can be used in production and incommerce with parts for water supply installations as well as inthe water supply companies. It prevents any thefts of unaccountedfor water by the meter. The unit consists of the classicaldismantable connection unit for the water supply systems, the nut(6) with female thread and bushing (9) of which are mounted at theend of the pipe to which they have to be coupled, and each of themhave respectively an inner and outer groove matching when the twoparts come to a preset position in order to form the facility forthe elastic segment (12), fitted in the groove of the nut, toenter partially into that of the bushing and in this way to blockthe two parts into a position and impede any screwing orunscrewing of the nut.5 claims, 5 figures
