Abstract

To provide an efficient way to replace water meter. Water meter installation unit 1 consisting of water stop bolt 2 and check valve 3 which connects to opening M1 and M2 of water meter M respectively, and base 4 which joints water stop bolt 2 and check valve 3 on the axis of the opening M1 and M2 of the water meter M at intervals wider than whole length of water meter. By fixing water stop bolt 2 and check valve 3 on the base 4, the opening M1 and M2 of the water meter M are able to against the opening 6 of the water stop bolt and the opening 31 of the check valve 3 with an extendable pipe 29, which is able to insert and withdraw freely through opening 6 or 31 thereof in water-tight state via a round base end 28 in interior 27, to be put either on the end of opening 6 of the water stop bolt 2 or the opening 31 of the check valve3.
