Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for hardeningand drying of hardened moulded bodies by calcium-silicate hydrate.The device is in the form of an autoclave (1) in the inner cavityon the bottom of which at least one steam pipeline for fresh steam(10) is fitted, spreading longitudinally. It includes supportingelements spreading longitudinally and fitted at side distance fromeach other, stands for hardening (3a, 3b, 3c) for the entering,hardening and drying blocks of moulded bodies (2a, 2b, 2c) andsubstrate elements. In the side walls of autoclave (1) there areheat sources and sets of heat-exchangers (8a, 8d). The sidedistance between the substrate elements and blocks (2a, 2b, 2c) isselected in such a way as to form one channel for the flow andintermediate space (2d) between blocks (2a, 2b, 2c). There is atleast one upper steam pipeline (7a, 7b) above the intermediatespace (2d) in order that the steam might recirculate.35 claims, 1 figure
