L'invention concerne un mécanisme de détente avec sécurité incorporée, pour armes à feu, ce mécanisme étant du type consistant essentiellement en une détente proprement dite;

"Trigger mechanism with built-in security, for firearms" Trigger mechanism with built-in security, for firearms.
The invention relates to a trigger mechanism with incorporated safety, for firearms, this mechanism being of the type essentially consisting of a trigger itself;
a dog able to cooperate with this relaxation; means
to move the dog in the free position towards a striker or an element related to this striker. According to the invention,
a safety device is provided on the trigger mechanism, which operates directly on the dog so that, when the hooked part of the dog is destroyed, no untimely discharge of the firearm can occur.
We know of firearms provided with a safety which, engaged, prevents the stall of the dog when the rifle
is armed. This safety consists, in general, of a manually engaged locking of the trigger or of an element
connected directly to it. It has happened several times already,
more especially during a rough handling of the weapon, for example by a fall, that a break occurs in the dog, thus causing the discharge of the weapon.
In order to overcome these drawbacks, the trigger mechanism with safety incorporated according to the invention consists essentially of a trigger itself; a dog capable of cooperating with this relaxation; means for moving the dog in the free position towards the striker or an element cooperating with the latter and, optionally, additional security for locking the trigger itself, said trigger mechanism also comprising means preventing the dog from coming into contact with the striker when the trigger is not operated.
In order to better highlight the characteristics of the invention, a preferred embodiment is given below by way of example, without any limiting character, with reference to the appended drawings in which:
Figure 1 shows in section a view of the trigger mechanism in which the dog is in the armed position; 2 shows a schematic perspective view along the arrow F2 of Figure 1; Figure 3 shows the trigger mechanism during normal handling of the trigger; Figure 4 shows a view similar to Figure 2 along arrow F4 of Figure 3; FIG. 5 represents a view of the trigger mechanism, the trigger not being actuated but in a state where a break has occurred in the dog; FIG. 6 represents a view similar to FIG. 2, along arrow F6 in FIG. 5.
As shown in the drawings, the trigger mechanism
consists of an actual trigger 1, a dog 2 capable of cooperating with the trigger 1, and means 3 for pushing the dog in the free position towards the striker 4. The cooperation between the trigger 1 and the dog 2 consists, in the 'occurrence, by hooking the dog 2 to the spout 5 of a part 6 secured to the trigger 1, the trigger 1 and the part 6 being able to oscillate around a pivot 7. The means 3 for actuating the dog 2, after the dropout, in this case, consists of a rod 8 fixed to the dog 2 at a point 9.
According to the invention, the trigger mechanism also comprises means 10 preventing the dog 2 from coming into contact with
the striker 4 when the trigger 1 has not been operated. In the embodiment shown, these means 10 essentially consist of a stop element 11; elastic means, for example a spiral spring 12 controlling
moving the element 11; a screen 13 which can be brought into the movement path of the element 11 and a connection between the trigger 1 and said screen 13. This connection is constituted, for example, by a rod 14 fixed, directly or indirectly, on said part 6, which can freely cooperate in the screen 13.
The element 11 is essentially constituted by two parts, respectively 16-17, of different diameter, able to cooperate with corresponding holes, respectively 18-19, the displacement of said element 11 being, in addition to the spring 12, controlled by a stop 20 housed in a notch 21 in said part 16. In addition, said part 16 also has a notch 22 with which an appendage can cooperate
23 of dog 2.
The screen 13 can move in a groove 24, the latter crossing the trajectory of the movement of the stop element 11. The screen also comprises an opening 25 which can offer passage to the element 11, more particularly the part 17 of this element 11.
The detent mechanism may also include a conventional safety device 26 which can be manually engaged which, as shown in the figures, consists of a stud 27 mounted behind the screen 13 which can move perpendicularly in the direction of movement of the element 11. This pin 27 is axially displaceable and has two parts of different diameter, respectively 28 and 29, which may or may not limit any movement of said part 6 and / or of element 11.
The operation of the mechanism can easily be understood from the figures and is substantially as follows. During normal operation, i.e. during the transition from a position according to FIG. 1 to the position according to FIG. 3, the dog 2 is off the hook when the trigger 1 moves, hence the movement of the dog 2 towards the striker 4 under the influence of the means 3. The screen 13 is, by means of the lever 6, simultaneously pushed down into the groove 24, both so that the opening 25 in the screen is moved exactly to the path of movement of the element 11.
By the movement of the dog 2, the appendix 23 enters the notch 22 of the element 11 and, by this fact, this element 11 is pushed to the right against the pressure of the spiral spring 12, causing thus the penetration of the part 17 of the element 11 into the opening 25 of the screen 13. The dog 2 can thus move freely as far as against the striker 4.
In the other case where, for example, the dog 2 is damaged, for example as indicated at 30 in FIG. 5, the element 11, after being stressed by appendix 23 of the released dog 2,
cannot move (to the right in the figures), the screen 13 preventing movement. The dog 2 is thus retained before touching the striker 4.
By the manual engagement of the safety device 26, or in other words, by the fact of axially moving the stud 27 so that the part 28 having the largest diameter comes to be placed in the path of the element 11, also prevents dog 2 from reaching striker 4.
Of course, different kinds of detent mechanisms can be envisaged, the invention requiring protection for all mechanisms working directly on the path of the dog 2.
The invention is in no way limited to the execution described
and shown in the accompanying drawings. Indeed, such an expansion mechanism with incorporated safety can be produced
in all shapes and sizes without departing from the scope of the invention.
