Deze uitvinding betreft een vloerreinigingsapparaat en in het bijzonder een vloermopapparaat, meer speciaal van het type dat bestaat uit een hoofdzakelijk vlak lichaam waaronder een laag schuimrubber is voorzien ; een zieh centraal op het lichaam bevindend scharnierbaar koppelstuk waaraan een steel is bevestigd en eventueel middelen om een vel papier of een doek rond het lichaam te bevestigen.
Men kent vloermopapparaten met scharnierbare koppelstukken voor de bevestiging van de steel, waarbij de steel kan neergedrukt worden totdat hij ongeveer een hoek van 20 à 30 graden maakt met het lichaam. Hierdoor vertonen deze bekende vloermopapparaten het nadeel dat zij niet op een doeltreffende manier kunnen aangewend worden onder kasten, bedden en dprgelijke.
Bovendien bestaan de scharnierbare koppelstukken uit een groot aantal onderdelen waarvan de montage een tijdrovende en koste- BAD ORIGINAL

lijke bezigheid is.
Bij de bekende vloermopapparaten bestaan de middelen om een doek of een vel papier rond het lichaam te bevestigen door- gaans uit twee aan de uiteinden van het lichaam voorziene kruisvormig doorgesneden membranen, waarin het vel papier vastgedrukt wordt en vervolgens rond het lichaam en de laag schuimrubber wordt gewikkeld om uiteindelijk een tweede maal terug in dezelfde middelen vastgedrukt te worden. Het feit dat het vel papier en/of het doek tweemaal door middel van dezelfde middelen vastgezet wordt heeft menigmaal tot gevolg dat het papier of het doek los komt.
Tevens bezitten alle bekende vloermopapparaten een lichaam dat hoofdzakelijk rechthoekig of trapeziumvormig is. Uit de praktijk weet men dat het ondanks deze trapeziumvorm nog steeds vrij moeilijk is met het vloermopapparaat tot in hoeken te komen.
Teneinde aan voornoemde en andere nadelen een oplossing te bieden voorziet de uitvinding dan ook in een vloermopapparaat waarbij het lichaam hoofdzakelijk trapeziumvormig is, de verbinding tussen het lichaam en de steel bestaat uit een scharnierbaar koppelstuk dat zodanig uitgevoerd is dat de steel evenwijdig kan gebracht worden aan het lichaam, en dat er meer dan 0twee van voornoemde doorkruiste membranen aanwezig zijn zodanig dat in een membraan geen dub- BAD ORIGINAL

bele inklemming hoeft te gebeuren.
Bovendien heeft de uitvinding betrekking op een werkwijze voor de vervaardiging vanvloerreiniginsapparaten, en in het bijzonder van het vloermopapparaat waarbij, in een tijdsparende methode wordt voorzien om het scharnierbaar koppelstuk op een efficiente wijze te monteren.
Met het inzicht de kenmerken volgens de uitvinding beter aan te tonen, is hierna, als voorbeeld zonder enig beperkend karakter, een voorkeurdragende uitvoeringsvorm beschreven met verwijzing naar de bijgaande tekeningen, waarin : figuur 1 in bovenaanzicht een vloermopapparaat weergeeft ; figuur 2 een doorsnede weergeeft van figuur 1 volgens lijn 11-11 ; figuren 3 tot en met 5 de werkwijze voor het bevestigen van het scharnierbaar koppelstuk, stapsgewijs illustreren.
Zoals in de figuren 1 en 2 wordt weergegeven bestaat het vloermopapparaat hoofdzakelijk uit een vlak lichaam 1, waaronder een schuimrubberen laag 2 of dergelijke is aangebracht, een koppelstuk 3 waarin een steel 4 is bevestigd en een aantal middelen 5 t. e. m. 8 om een vel papier of een doek te bevestigen.

Het scharnierbaar koppelstuk 3 bestaat hoofdzakelijk uit, twee perpendiculair aan elkaar bevestigde spillen 9 en 10, waarvan de eerste verdraaibaar is in twee flenzen 11 en 12 die op het lichaam 1 bevestigd zijn, en waarvan de tweede verdraaibaar bevestigd zit in een huls 13 waarin de steel 4 wordt bevestigd. Volgens de uitvinding is deze konstruktie zodanig opgevat dat, zoals in figuur 2 wordt weergegeven de steel 4 volledig evenwijdig kan gebracht worden met het li- chaam 1. Dit wordt hier verkregen door de hoogte H van de draaias 14 van de spil 9 ten opzichte van het dichst daaronder gelegen vlak groter te nemen dan de helft van de bui- tendiamer D van de huls 13.
Volgens due uitvinding worden er ook minstens in drie, en bij voorkeur in vier, middelen, respektievelijk 5 tot en met 8 voorzien om een vel papier of een doek te bevestigen. Zoals in de figuren wordt weergegeven zijn deze bij voorkeur op de vier hoekpunten van he t lichaam l aangebracht en bestaan zij elk uit een membraan 15 dat voorzien is van een kruisof stervormige insnijding 16, het vel papier of het doek wordt hierbij eerst in de middelen 5 en 6 bevestigd, vervolgens rond he t lichaam l en de schuimrubberlaag 2 gewikkeld, om uiteindelijk bevestigd te worden in de middelen 7 en 8, het is dan ook duidelijk dat elk vel papier slechts een maal door middel van een zelfde middel 5 tot en met 8 wordt vastgeklemd, waardoor een zekere vasthechting ontstaat.

Uit de praktijk is gebleken dat, teneinde een goede reiniging in hoeken en dergelijke te kunnen uitvoeren, he t lichaam l bij voorkeur de vorm heeft van een parallellogram.
De uitvinding voorziet ook nog in een werkwijze om het vloermopapparaat te vervaardigen, waarbij deze in het bijzonder betrekking heeft op het aanbrengen van het scharnierbaar koppelstuk 3 op he t lichaam l volgens een efficiente en zeer tijdsparende methode.
De werkwijze wordt systhematisch weergegeven in de figuren 3 tot en met 5. Hierbij worden het lichaam 1 en de voornoemde flenzen 11 en 12 uit een geheel gevormd, uit bijvoorbeeld kunststof door middel van spuitgieten. Alvorens de kunststof uitgehard is wordt dit geheel centraal verbogen zoals weergegeven in figuur 4, waardoor de flenzen 11 en 12 uit elkaar gericht worden. Vervolgens worden de spillen 9 en 10 met spil 9 tussen de flenzen 11 en 12 gebracht, waarna het lichaam 1 terug tot in een vlak gebogen wordt, zodanig dat spil 9 wordt ingeklemd.
Het is duidelijk dat zulke konstruktie weinig tijd vergt, en dat na het uitharden van de kunststof zulke scharnierverbinding onmogelijk los kan komen.
