Abstract

The mechanism is for converting rotation into reciprocating motion or vice versa. The reciprocating motion may be carried out by a piston. - The rotating shaft is arranged with its axis intersecting the piston axis and carries a pinion with gear teeth over 40% only of its perimeter.
