Abstract

The fire-door has a central symmetrical insulating panel covered on each face by a layer of mineral wool of high density. Alternatively, the outer layers can be of plastics foam or insulating panels. The thickness of the outer layers is selected to determine the performance of the door. - The outer surfaces of the composite are enclosed by sheet steel, or fire resistant material panels, the peripheral edges of which are retained by screws. Le panneau est consitué d'une âme centrale, symétrique, en produit isolant Gyproc, Promabest ou similaire, recouverte sur chaque face d'un matelas en laine minérale à haute densité, de mousse phénolique ou d'un isolant thermique en plaques ou en matelas, l'épaisseur des constituants étant déterminée selon la performance exigée.

  
Les parois extérieures du sandwich sont prévues en tôle d'acier ou en plaques rigides, incombustibles assurant la résistance mécanique du panneau; l'assemblage périphérique est obtenu par vis, clous ou rivets fixés dans un intercalaire incombustible, non hygroscopique évitant la création d'un pont thermique d'une face vers l'autre.

  
Sur les chants, un logement peut être prévu pour y insérer une bande périphérique en produit foisonnant à la chaleur.
