Grappin actionné par gravité, caractérisé en ce que les deux douilles placées l'une dans l'autre (1,4) sont en forme de cuvettes avec des fonds tournés vers le haut (23, 19); sur le moyeu central (22) est rapportée une couronne inférieure comportant des dents de scie sur chant (17); sur la face interne du fond (19) de la douille externe (4) est rapportée une autre couronne comportant des dents de scie de chant (18); sur l'arbre central (2) est rapporté entre les deux couronnes dentées sur chant (17, 18), un anneau de commutation (10) susceptible de tourner par rapport à eux mais fixé axialement, et sui comporte une ou plusieurs dents orientées vers le haut et vers le bas susceptibles de pénétrer dans la denture sur chant (17, 18).
