Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet l'utilisation d'immunoglobuline intacte, polyvalente et injectable par voie intraveineuse, pour le traitement des infections herpétiques. De préférence, l'immununoglobuline intacte de polyvalente est obtenue à partir de fractions du sérum sanguin par cryoprécipitation modifiée par l'alcool avec légère acidification à pH 4. Avantageusement, l'immunoglobine est administrée par perfusion intraveineuse, à une dose comprise entre 0,05 et 0,3g/kg. A titre prophylactique l'immunoglobuline étant administrée pendant la phase latente de l'infection.
