Abstract

Une pellicule thermoplastique à plusieurs couches manifestant une supérioté des propriétés physiques comprend un polyéthylène linéaire à basse densité ou à moyenne densité comme couche d'ame. Cette pellicule l'emporte par les propriétés physiques sur les pellicules actuellement connues de polychlorure de vinyle. Cette pellicule présente un degré d'orientation moins élevé, mais un meilleur allongement. Avantageusement, la pellicule subit une irradiation jusqu'à quelques mégarads en vue de la réticulation.
