eerste stang.
<EMI ID=2.1>

The invention relates to an organ displacement mechanism and it is an object of the object to provide such a mechanism, which exhibits excellent stability at a minimum weight and can realize displacements of the organ in a plane and at a relatively high speed.
According to the invention, these objects are achieved in that this member is coupled to a first point of a rectilinear rod of which a second point is coupled to a drive device and that is hingedly connected between these two points to a first point of a second rectilinear rod of which a second point is also coupled to this driving device, which can move these second points along rectilinear parallel paths, and the distance between the first point of the second rod and the second point of the
first bar is not less than 20% of the length of the
first bar.
<EMI ID = 2.1>
the pivot point is coupled and thus forms a triangular construction, the mechanism exhibits great stability and rigidity, making it possible to use relatively light rods. This in turn enables a great speed of movement of the rods and therefore also of the organ and this is further facilitated by the fact that these movements take place in parallel rectilinear paths.
The foregoing and other objects and features of the invention will become more apparent and the invention itself will be best understood by reference to the following

hearing drawings in which:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an organ displacement mechanism according to the invention; Fig. 2 a schematic top view of this mechanism.
The organ displacement mechanism shown comprises a rectilinear rod 1 provided with a front part, which is coupled to a member 2 to be moved, and with a fork-shaped rear part with two arms separated by a slot 3
4 and 5. The ends 6 and 7 of these arms 4 and 5 are connected to a drive device (not shown), which ends

hinged to one end 8 of another rectilinear rod 9. This rod 9 is at its other end
10 connected to said capable driving device
this other end 10 is movable along a rectilinear path parallel to X-X and in FIG. 2 with X'-X 'is
<EMI ID = 5.1>
is not less than 20% of the total length of the rod 1.
The movements of the ends 6, 7, on the other hand, and
10, on the other hand, can be done in the same sense or in the opposite sense, and the end 10 of the arm 9 can be moved on either side of the arm 1, since this rod 9 can pass through the slot 3 between the arms 4 and 5 of the rod 1 to move. By a suitable choice of the movements imposed on points 6, 7 and 10, for example, a movement of the member 2 along an axis parallel to X-X or perpendicular thereto can be obtained. During such movements, the rod 1 is always coupled to the rod 9 and this rigid triangular construction makes it possible to use relatively light rods 1 and 2, which in turn permits rapid movements of these rods.
By using suitable drive devices, the member 2 can also be moved in the vertical direction or it can also be given a rotary movement. The described mechanism is therefore appropriate for use in robots.
The principles of the invention have been described above with reference to a particular embodiment,
but it is clear that this description is only given by way of example and the invention is not limited thereto.
