<EMI ID=1.1>
A cet effet, l'addition a pour objet un procédé du type décrit au brevet principal, pour réaliser le battage d'un élément, par exemple, dans le sol, tel qu'un pieu, une palplanche ou analogue, au moyen d'une machine de battage du type à chute libre d'un mouton, telle qu'une sonnette ou analogue consistant à laisser tomber, en chute libre, le mouton sur l'élément à battre ; à remonter le mouton à une hauteur prédéterminée et réglable par rapport à l'élément à battre ;

A
a b.
<EMI ID=3.1>
<EMI ID=4.1>
battage.
<EMI ID=5.1>
<EMI ID=6.1>
"Method and device for automatic threshing control of an element lying in the ground" The present addition relates to and essentially relates to an improvement to the method and to the device for carrying out the automatic threshing of an element
such as a pile, sheet pile or the like, for example in the ground, of the main patent.
The main patent method for threshing an element, for example in the ground, such as a pile, sheet pile or the like, by means of a threshing machine of the free fall type of a sheep such as a bell or the like consists in letting the sheep fall on the element to be beaten in free fall; to raise the sheep to a predetermined height and adjustable relative to the element to be beaten and to repeat these operations. In this method, the triggering of the free fall of the sheep and the ascent of said sheep are automatically controlled and controlled by detection respectively of the predetermined height of ascent of said sheep and of the instant of impact of the sheep on the element to be beat.
The device for carrying out this process comprises all the elements of a threshing machine or bell and means for detecting the instant of impact of the sheep on the element to be beaten, means for detecting the ascent height said sheep, these means of
<EMI ID = 1.1>
drive.
Thus, when the instant of impact of the sheep on the element to be beaten is detected, the winch is engaged with the drive means to exert a force on the suspension cable of the sheep making it possible to raise the latter. In addition, as soon as the sheep is raised to a predetermined height, the winch is disengaged which triggers the free fall of the sheep.
However, as the clutch of the winch is produced from the instant of impact of the sheep on the element to be beaten, a force will be exerted very quickly, and in particular before the end of the sheep's stroke, tending to cause it to rise. Therefore, all the kinetic energy acquired by the sheep during its fall will not be transmitted to the element to be beaten.
The present addition proposes an improvement to this process which makes it possible to transmit the kinetic energy of the sheep substantially to the element to be beaten, by delaying the moment of clutching the winch relative to the instant of impact of the sheep on the element to beat. In addition, the addition process makes it possible to substantially remove the slack in the suspension cable.
of the sheep, after the instant of impact of the latter on the element to be beaten.
To this end, the object of the addition is a method of the type described in the main patent, for threshing an element, for example, in the ground, such as a pile, a sheet pile or the like, by means of a threshing machine of the free fall type of a sheep, such as a bell or the like consisting in dropping the sheep, in free fall, onto the element to be beaten; to raise the sheep to a predetermined height and adjustable relative to the element to be beaten;
and repeat these operations, the triggering of the free fall of the sheep and the ascent of said sheep being automatically controlled by detection respectively of the predetermined height of the sheep and of the instant of impact of said sheep on the element to be beaten, characterized in that that said triggering of the ascent of the sheep is controlled by the detection of the immobilization of the sheep on the element to be beaten, the detection of said instant of impact of the sheep on said element to be beaten controlling the winding of the suspension cable of said sheep with a winding force at most substantially equal to the weight of said sheep.
Thus, the addition method makes it possible to maintain the cable substantially in the stretched position after the sheep has come into contact with the element to be beaten, without for this exerting a force on said sheep tending to raise it. In. Consequently, substantially all of the kinetic energy that the sheep possesses at the time of impact on the element to be beaten is transmitted to this element.
The present addition also relates to a device for implementing the method described above, this device being of the type described in
main patent and comprising a threshing machine or bell comprising a chassis, a threshing mast,
a sheep suspended on a cable winding on a winch, said winch being connected by means of clutch and declutching to drive means such as for example electric, thermal, hydraulic, pneumatic or similar motors , said clutch and declutching means being controlled by a power control member which is connected to means for detecting respectively the height of ascent of said sheep and the instant of impact thereof on the element to beat, characterized in that it comprises a means of detecting the moment of immobilization of the sheep in contact with the element
to beat, said means being connected via said power control member to said clutch and declutching means, said clutch means comprising a first position called "pre-clutch" for transmitting a driving force
winch at most equal to the weight of the sheep, and a second position called "clutch" to transmit
a winch drive force allowing said sheep to rise.
According to another characteristic of the addition, the means for detecting the instant of impact of the sheep on the element to be beat emits a signal corresponding to

this instant of impact, applied to the control member
above power to control the passage of the clutch means from their disengaged position in their first pre-clutch position, the means
aforementioned detection of the instant of immobilization of the aforementioned sheep on the element to be beat emitting a
signal corresponding to this immobilization, applied to said power control member to control
the passage of said clutch means from their first pre-clutch position to their second clutch position.
According to yet another characteristic of the addition, the means for detecting the instant of immobilization of the sheep comprises sensors of angular displacement of the winch, a device for analyzing the signal emitted by this sensor to determine the instant of speed. zero winch rotation and emit the aforementioned signal applied to the aforementioned power control member.
Other characteristics, advantages and details of the addition will appear more clearly in the detailed description which follows, given with reference to the appended drawings, given solely by way of example,
and in which:
- Figure 1 is a schematic view illustrating a threshing machine comprising the automatic control device of said threshing according to the addition; and
- Figure 2 is a diagram showing the speed of unwinding and winding of the cable on the winch as a function of time, during threshing.
The description of a threshing machine according to the addition will be made with reference to the appended figure 1 in which the parts common to the threshing machine of the addition and of the main patent are designated by the same references.
<EMI ID = 2.1> According to an exemplary embodiment, and referring to FIG. 1, a threshing machine 1 of an element 2, for example elongated such as a pile, a sheet pile or the like, in the ground 3 comprises conventionally a chassis 4, a threshing mast 5 at the upper end of which is mounted a guide pulley 6, and a sheep 7 suspended from a cable 8 guided by the pulley 6 and winding on the threshing winch 9 . This winch 9 is fixed to the chassis 4 of the threshing machine 1 and comprises drive means (not shown), for example hydraulic or pneumatic drive means
which are connected to the winch 9 by means of clutch or disengage 11 shown schematically and being constituted for example by a system with hydraulic cylinders. In addition, these clutch or declutching means 11 are controlled and actuated by a hydraulic power control system 10, known per se, schematically comprising a distributor
10a, a pump 10b and a hydraulic fluid reservoir 10c.
According to the addition, these clutch means 11 comprise a disengaged position and two engaged positions: a first position called "pre-clutch" transmitting a driving force of the winch 9
which is at most substantially equal to the weight of the sheep 7; and a second so-called "clutch" position in which this clutch means 11 transmits a driving force to the winch 9 making it possible to raise the sheep 7.
In addition, the threshing machine 1 comprises a load sensor 12 exerted by the cable 8 on the pulley 6 making it possible to detect the instant of impact.
of the sheep 7 on the element to be beaten 2, this load sensor 12 being connected to a device 13 for analysis
of the signal emitted by the sensor 12 which is itself
AT
connected to the power control member 10 of the clutch means 11. The addition threshing machine also comprises means 15 for detecting the angular displacement of the winch 9 constituted by two fixed marks 15a, 15b and several marks 14 attached to the winch. This angular displacement detection means 15 is connected to a pulse counter emitting a signal transmitted to the analysis devices
13 mentioned above which emits in response a control signal actuating the power control member 10 of the clutch or disengage means 11 of the winch 9.
The different signal transmission links between the sensors 12, 15b, 15a, the analysis device 13 and the power control system
10 are indicated by thin lines.
In accordance with the addition, the device 15 for detecting the angular displacement of the winch 9
allows on the one hand to detect the ascent height
of the sheep 7 and on the other hand to detect the instant of immobilization of the sheep 7 on the element to be beaten 2.
We will now describe with reference
more particularly in figure 2.1e operation
of the automatic threshing control device conforming to the addition.
The curve in solid lines represents the variation of the winding speeds Ve and unwinding Vd of the cable on the drum 9 as a function of time during a threshing cycle, the curve in broken lines corresponding to the variations of the speeds of
unwinding Vd and winding Ve of cable 8 during
the next threshing cycle which is substantially identical to the curve in solid lines.
The threshing cycle according to the addition is as follows:
at point a the sheep being raised to a height corresponding to the predetermined height, the winch is disengaged to cause the free fall of the sheep corresponding to zone I, the speed of unwinding of the cable being represented by the curve segment.
a b.
At the instant of impact of the sheep 7 on the element
to beat 2 detected by the load sensor 12,
according to the addition, the clutch means 11 are passed into their first position called "pre-clutch" to drive the winch 9 according to a driving force at most substantially equal to the weight of the sheep 7. In Figure 2 this part of the cycle corresponds to zone II. Therefore, the cable is wound around the winch 9 as long as it is not in the stretched position, which corresponds to the portion of curve b c. As this winding force exerted on the cable 8 is not sufficient to raise the sheep 7, when the
cable is in the stretched position, it will be unwound again to follow the movement of the sheep 7 down c d. When substantially all of the kinetic energy acquired by the sheep 7 during its free fall is transmitted to the pile 2, the sheep 7 will immobilize on the upper end of the pile 2 which corresponds to the point d of the curve. According to the addition, this immobilization is detected by the sensor 15
angular displacement of the winch 9 because the cable 8 is always kept in the tensioned position given
that the clutch means 11 are in their first pre-clutch position.
At this instant, the signal emitted by the sensor
15 of angular displacement analyzed by the device and the analysis 13 transmits a control signal to
<EMI ID = 3.1>
clutch in which the driving force transmitted to the winch 9 allows the sheep 7 to be raised.
J
This part III of the threshing cycle corresponds to the segment of curve d-e-f.
The sheep is raised to a specific height
<EMI ID = 4.1>
threshing.
Thus, according to the addition, the force exerted by the cable 8 on the sheep 7 after its instant of impact with the element 2 to be beaten is relatively small to simply allow the cable 8 to be held in the stretched position and therefore, substantially all of the kinetic energy acquired by the sheep 7 during its fall is transmitted to the element 2 to be beaten.
The addition process therefore makes it possible to automatically control the threshing of an element to be beaten without thereby reducing the efficiency of threshing.
<EMI ID = 5.1>
as an example, this is how the means for detecting the immobilization of the sheep 7 on the element 2 to be beaten, the means for detecting the instant of impact of the sheep 7 on the pile 2 , the clutch means,
<EMI ID = 6.1>
clutch means, disengagement can be arbitrary without departing from the scope of -'invention.
