"Sac en matière plastique"
La présente invention a pour objet un sac en matière plastique constitué de deux épaisseurs de matière superposées, réunies par soudure le long de leurs bords de telle sorte que
ces deux épaisseurs de matière soient libres sur un des cotés du sac pour délimiter l'ouverture de ce dernier, et muni d'une poignée ou d'un moyen d'accrochage associé au sac, le long d'un des côtés de celui-ci, par une patte d'assemblage.
Le principal inconvénient des sacs connus du type susdit, qui sont principalement utilisés pour l'emballage de produits vendus dans des magasins à libre-service et exposés, sur des présentoirs, suspendus par leur poignée ou leur moyen d'accrochage, réside dans le fait qu'ils offrent peu de résistance aux manipu- lations et aux chocs à l'endroit de la fixation de la poignée ou du moyen d'accrochage de telle sorte qu'il est fréquent que la poignée ou le moyen d'accrochage, dont la patte d'assemblage est fixée par soudure à une des parois du sac et en saillie par rapport
à cette paroi, se sépare du sac; ce qui fait perdre de sa valeur marchande au produit emballé dans le sac. Il est en effet bien
connu que, dans les magasins à libre-service, tous les produits emballés qui ne peuvent plus être suspendus à leurs présentoirs
font l'objet de ventes spéciales aux cours desquelles ils sont
vendus à un prix inférieur à leur prix normal.
L'invention a pour but de remédier à cet inconvénient
et de procurer un sac,d'un prix de revient analogue à celui des
sacs connus, présentant une beaucoup plus grande résistance,à l'en- droit de fixation de sa poignée ou de son moyen d'accrochage, que celle obtenue dans lesdits sacs connus, le sac suivant l'invention offrant en outre l'avantage important que, contrairement aux sacs connus, la patte d'assemblage susdite n'est pas fixée en saillie
par rapport à une paroi du sac, ce qui élimine pratiquement tout risque d'accrochage et arrachage accidentel de ladite patte d'assemblage.
A cet effet, suivant l'invention, le sac présente, le
long d'un de ses cotés, une portion de matière repliée vers l'in- térieur du sac, parallèlement au coté susdit, pour réaliser un soufflet formé d'au moins trois épaisseurs de matière superposées,
la patte d'assemblage précitée étant logée et fixée dans ce soufflet.
Suivant. un mode de réalisation de l'invention, la patte d'assemblage susdite est réunie par soudure aux trois épaisseurs de matière superposées constituant le soufflet susdit.

Suivant un mode de réalisation particulièrement avanta- geux de l'invention, les trois épaisseurs de matière formant le soufflet susdit et auxquelles la patte précitée est réunie par soudure sont réunies entre elles, par soudure, le long des bords du sac contigus à l'ouverture de celui-ci.

La figure 1 est une vue en perspective, avec brisures partielles, d'un sac à rabat suivant l'invention. La figure 2 est une vue en perspective du sac montré à la figure 1, le rabat étant représenté dans une position dif- férente de celle de la figure 1. La figure 3 est une section suivant la ligne III - III de la figure 1.

Le sac en matière plastique 1 suivant l'invention est constitué de deux épaisseurs de matière 2 et 3 superposées réunies par soudure le long de leurs bords 4 et 5, pour les formes de réalisation représentées aux figures 1 à 6, ou le long de son bord 6, pour la forme de réalisation montrée à la figure 7, de manière à ce que ces deux épaisseurs de matière 2 et 3 soient libres sur le coté 7 du sac pour délimiter l'ouverture 8 de ce dernier. Le sac 1 est pourvu d'une poignée 9 (figure 7) ou d'un moyen d'accrochage, tel que crochet 10 (figures 1, 2, 4 et 6), associé au sac, le long d'un des cotés de celui-ci, par une patte d'assemblage 11.
Dans toutes les formes de réalisation de sacs représentés aux dessins, le sac 1 présente, le long d'un de ses eûtes, une portion de matière repliée, vers l'intérieur du sac et parallèlement au coté susdit, pour réaliser un soufflet 12 formé d'au moins trois épaisseurs de matière 13, 14 et 15, la patte d'assemblage 11 étant logée dans ce soufflet 12, entre les épaisseurs de matière 14 et 15, et réunie par soudure, en 16 et sur toute la longueur de ses faces 17 et 18, à ces trois épaisseurs de matière.
En disposant la patte d'assemblage 11 dans ledit soufflet 12, on met cette patte à l'abri de tout accrochage accidentel et de plus, en la soudant, par ses deux faces, à trois épaisseurs au moins de matière, on renforce considérablement sa fixation au sac par rapport à la fixation sur les sacs connus qui s'effectue en soudant la patte 11, en saillie et par une seule de ses faces, sur une des parois du sac.
Suivant l'invention, le soufflet 12 est avantageusement réalisé, comme montré aux figures 1 à 3, dans l'épaisseur de matière 3 constituant une des parois du sac 1 et à proximité de l'ouverture 8 de ce dernier. Le soufflet est formé par superposi-tion de quatre épaisseurs de matière 13, 14, 15 et 19, l'épaisseur
19 de matière étant destinée à former un rabat 20 permettant de couvrir l'ouverture 8 du sac.
La patte d'assemblage 11 du crochet
10 de suspension du sac est logée dans le soufflet 12, entre les épaisseurs de matière 14 et 15, et est réunie, par soudure, le long de sa face 18 aux épaisseurs de matière 13 et 14 et, le long de sa face 17, à l'épaisseur de matière 15, le rabat 20 demeurant libre par rapport à .ladite patte 11 afin d'autoriser, comme montré à la figure 2, un dégagement total de l'ouverture 8, ce qui facilite notablement l'introduction dans le sac des marchandises à emballer. De plus, la possibilité de placer le rabat 20, à plat, sur le crochet 10 afin de recouvrir totalement ce dernier, facilite les opérations d'ensachage automatique tout en supprimant les risques d'accrochage des matières à emballer par le crochet 10. Les trois épaisseurs de matière 13, 14 et 15 du soufflet 12 sont réunies entre elles par soudure le long des bords 4 et 5 du sac.
Il est bien entendu que, suivant l'invention, l'épaisseur de matière 19 formant le rabat 20 pourrait, tout comme les épaisseurs de matière 13, 14 et 15, être réunie par soudure à la face 17 de la patte d'assemblage 11. La fixation de cette patte serait ainsi renforcée mais ce, au détriment de l'accessibilité
à l'ouverture 8 du sac. La face 21 du rabat 20 présente avantageusement une zone 22, garnie de colle isolée, jusqu'au moment
de la fermeture du sac, par un ruban de protection 23.
Suivant l'invention et comme montré à la figure 4, le soufflet 12 pourrait être réalisé dans l'épaisseur de matière 3 constituant une paroi du sac par superposition de trois épaisseurs de matière 13, 14 et 15. La patte d'assemblage 11 étant fixée de
la même manière que dans le sac montré aux figures 1 à 3 et ces trois épaisseurs de matière 13, 14 et 15 étant réunies par soudure le long des bords 4 et 5 du sac.

known bags, exhibiting much greater resistance, at the place of attachment of its handle or of its hooking means, than that obtained in said known bags, the bag according to the invention also offering the important advantage that, unlike known bags, the aforementioned assembly tab is not fixed projecting
relative to a wall of the bag, which practically eliminates any risk of catching and accidental tearing of said assembly tab.
For this purpose, according to the invention, the bag has, the

The plastic bag 1 according to the invention consists of two layers of material 2 and 3 superimposed together by welding along their edges 4 and 5, for the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 6, or along its edge 6, for the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, so that these two thicknesses of material 2 and 3 are free on side 7 of the bag to delimit the opening 8 of the latter. The bag 1 is provided with a handle 9 (Figure 7) or a hooking means, such as hook 10 (Figures 1, 2, 4 and 6), associated with the bag, along one of the sides of the latter, by an assembly lug 11.
In all the embodiments of bags shown in the drawings, the bag 1 has, along one of its sides, a portion of material folded back, towards the inside of the bag and parallel to the aforesaid side, to produce a bellows 12 formed. of at least three thicknesses of material 13, 14 and 15, the assembly tab 11 being housed in this bellows 12, between the thicknesses of material 14 and 15, and joined by welding, at 16 and over the entire length of its faces 17 and 18, to these three thicknesses of material.
By placing the assembly lug 11 in said bellows 12, this lug is protected from any accidental snagging and, moreover, by welding it, by its two faces, to at least three thicknesses of material, it considerably strengthens its attachment to the bag relative to the attachment to known bags which is effected by welding the tab 11, projecting and by only one of its faces, on one of the walls of the bag.
According to the invention, the bellows 12 is advantageously produced, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, in the thickness of material 3 constituting one of the walls of the bag 1 and near the opening 8 of the latter. The bellows is formed by superposi-tion of four thicknesses of material 13, 14, 15 and 19, the thickness
19 of material being intended to form a flap 20 making it possible to cover the opening 8 of the bag.

10 for suspension of the bag is housed in the bellows 12, between the thicknesses of material 14 and 15, and is joined, by welding, along its face 18 to the thicknesses of material 13 and 14 and, along its face 17, to the thickness of material 15, the flap 20 remaining free relative to the said tab 11 in order to allow, as shown in Figure 2, a total release of the opening 8, which significantly facilitates the introduction into the bag of goods to be packed. In addition, the possibility of placing the flap 20, flat, on the hook 10 in order to completely cover the latter, facilitates automatic bagging operations while eliminating the risk of the materials to be packaged catching by the hook 10. The three thicknesses of material 13, 14 and 15 of the bellows 12 are joined together by welding along the edges 4 and 5 of the bag.
It is understood that, according to the invention, the thickness of material 19 forming the flap 20 could, like the thicknesses of material 13, 14 and 15, be joined by welding to the face 17 of the assembly tab 11. The fixing of this tab would thus be reinforced, but to the detriment of accessibility.

According to the invention and as shown in FIG. 4, the bellows 12 could be produced in the thickness of material 3 constituting a wall of the bag by superimposing three thicknesses of material 13, 14 and 15. The assembly tab 11 being fixed from
the same way as in the bag shown in Figures 1 to 3 and these three thicknesses of material 13, 14 and 15 being joined by welding along the edges 4 and 5 of the bag.
