La présente invention concerne la fabrication d'un dossier de siège, fait de toute matière quelconque convenant à cette fabrication, qui est réalisé de façon à jouer un rôle orthopédique en contribuant à soutenir l'épine dorsale de la personne assise, dans une position confortable qui la maintienne en bon état.
Le dossier du siège ainsi fabriqué comporte dans le zone inférieure, une partie complémentaire dont la hauteur correspond exactement à celle de la région lombaire et qui se présente sous la forme d'un bombement ou, plutôt d'un renflement dont le rôle est de soutenir les vertèbres lombaires de façon qu'elles ne se rejettent pas en arrière sous l'effet du poids du corps de la personne assise.
Une particularité complémentaire de l'invention, dont le but est de procurer un siègeapportant, mieux que les sièges connus jusqu'à présent, un appui confortable et complet de la région lombaire, réside en ce qu'il est prévu de donner au renflement précité, tant dans le sens horizontal que dans le sens vertical, une incurvation convenable, c'est-à-dire telle qu'elle s'adapte exactement aux courbes du corps.
Jusqu'à présent, il n'a jamais été prévu, dans la fabrication des sièges, qu'il s'agisse de sièges ordinaires ou de sièges orthopédiques, de munir ceux-ci d'un tel renflement, qui puisse s'adapter ou qui puisse être place
à la partie inférieure du dossier dans le but indiqué dans le présent mémoire. La fabrication de sièges à dossier mobile n'a aucun rapport avec la présente invention, ceci
pour la raison que ces sièges sont conçus de telle façon que leur dossier puisse être placé au niveau convenable

de celle-ci. Dans la fabrication des sièges, d'une manière générale, il n'a pas encore été imaginé jusqu'ici de réaliser un siège qui puisse soutenir les vertèbres de la région lombaire.
Le siège faisant l'objet de la présente invention offre les avantages énoncés ci-après : a) il pré-vient l'endommagement des disques intervertébraux. b) il soulage des douleurs en cas de discopathie ou de déficiences des disques intervertébraux. c) il évite en général tous les troubles, déformation, etc. pouvant affecter l'épine dorsale. Il constitue donc un siège orthopédique.
Le siège faisant l'objet de la présente invention comporte les éléments de base et les pièces mentionnées ci-après,sous des chiffres correspondant aux références indiquées sur les figures 1 à 4 du dessin annexé à la présente description:
1) dossier du siège;
2) renflement, correspondant à la partie inférieure du dossier 1 du siège et pouvant être incurvé, comme l'indique la figure 3, ou ne pas l'être, connue dans le cas illustré par la figure 2, l'élément de renflement étant réalisé en une matière dure ou ferme quelconque;
3) matière molle, couvrant le renflement 2 et le dossier 1 du siège;
4) matière molle (matière plastique expansée, rembourrage de matière textile, etc.) couvrant le fond ou
le cadre (partie inférieure) du siège;
5) fond ou cadre (partie inférieure) du siège;
6) élément pliant du siège complémentaire
(lanières, etc.).
La référence 7 désigne le squelette d'une personne assise.
La figure 1 représente un siège dans lequel est monté l'élément de renflement 2, ce siège pouvant ainsi jouer un rôle orthopédique, ce qui fait l'objet de la présente invention. La figure 2 représente un élément de siège complémentaire et réglable, pouvant être placé sur tout siége ordinaire (chaise, fauteuil, siège de véhicule, etc.), cet élément complémentaire étant destiné à donner les avantages de la présente invention à des sièges ne comportant pas l'élément de renflement nouveau incorporé. Cet élément complémentaire est fixé au fond ou au cadre 5 du siège au moyen d'un revêtement de cuir ou de matière plastique, au moyen de lanières ou par tout autre moyen convenable. Le dossier du siège, le siège proprement dit et les garnitures de matière molle sont revêtus de cuir, de matière plastique,etc.
L'élément de siège complémentaire peut être plié de façon
à pouvoir être transporté aisément. La personne qui utilise le siège peut donner la position voulue à l'élément de siège complémentaire.
L'élément de renflement et l'élément de siège complémentaire réglable faisant l'objet de la présente invention peuvent être fabriqués'en toute matière convenable, cette matière devant présenter une certaine fermeté ou dureté, de façon qu'elle ne puisse se déformer lorsque le siège est occupé, son rôle étant d'éviter que le dos et les vertèbres lombaires ne se rejettent vers l'arrière.
