DISPOSITIF A ROULEAU POUR APPLICATION DE PEINTURES
La présente invention est un perfectionnement à la demande de brevet n[deg.] 0/182078 du 26 octobre 1977 qui était relative à un dispositif pour l'application de peintures et matières similaires caractérisé par
une tige circulaire comportant deux bourrelets ou deux gorges circulaires , cette tige constituant le support, et deux cylindres, glissés sur cette tige, munis à l'intérieur d'une tubulure ayant un diamètre interne très légèrement supérieur au diamètre de la tige et la surface interne de chaque tubulure comportant, près d'une extrémité, une gorge ou bourrelet circulaire destiné à s'adapter respectivement à un des bourrelets ou à une des
gorges de la tige, et finalement comme moyen de préhension, un élément plat perpendiculaire à la tige et fixé à la partie centrale de cette
dernière.
Les qualités essentielles de ce dispositif sont d'une part un parfait équilibre et d'autre part un ensemble rapidement et fermement assemblé qui

ments secondaires de fixation, vis, écrous, ...
Les formes de réalisation selon le présent perfectionnement conservent les mêmes avantages d'équilibre et de facilité d'assemblage tout
en ne nécessitant plus l'utilisation de deux cylindres séparés, un seul étant suffisant ce qui réduit sensiblement les frais de fabrication notamment par le fait que l'on peut prévoir une matière de garnissage en une seule �.. -
pièce.
A cet effet, le dispositif pour l'application de peintures et matières similaires selon le présent perfectionnement se caractérise en ce
que la tige circulaire en matériau rigide de préférence en matière plastique rigide est creuse et comporte au moins un bourrelet ou gorge circulaire en un endroit quelconque de sa longueur mais de préférence près de l'une de ces extrémités, cette tige constituant l'axe de rotation,
et les deux cylindres en matière plastique rigide s'emboîtent partiellement de manière à ne former qu'une pièce ou un cylindre d'une pièce qui est munie à l'intérieur d'au moins une tubulure ayant un diamètre interne légèrement supérieur au diamètre externe de la tige, tubulure comportant un nombre identique de gorges ou bourrelets circulaires susceptibles de s'adapter aux bourrelets ou gorges de la tige, et en plus une ferrure en forme
de U à membrures parallèles mais de longueur identique ou non présentant un profil en coupe angulaire et dont une membrure est destinée à y glisser de force et maintenir la tige et l'autre perpendiculairement, le manche de préhension de préférence en matière plastique rigide.
De manière préférentielle, la membrure sur laquelle se glisse la tige sera de longueur relativement substantielle de manière à soutenir la tige
sur toute sa longueur, en particulier si cette dernière s'étend sur toute
la longueur du dispositif, / comportera dans ce cas deux bourrelets
ou deux gorges et en regard, il en sera de même de la tubulure.
Afin de mieux comprendre l'invention, on l'a décrit maintenant de manière exemplative et non limitative par rapport à un dessin qui représente :
à la fig. 1 une vue de face du dispositif désassemblé,
à la fig. 2 une vue en coupe longitudianle dans le cylindre,

à la fig. 4 une vue en biais d'une flasque latérale,
à la fig. 5 une vue de côté du manche de préhension.
En se référant à la figure 1, on voit les différentes pièces du dispositif, par 1 le manche ou poignée de préhension, par 2 la ferrure, par 3 la tige creuse constituant l'axe de rotation, par 4 le cylindre destiné à être garni de manière connu par une matière de garnissage permettant de prélever de la peinture hors d'un récipient et de l'appliquer sur une surface à recouvrir, par 5 les flasques latérales destinées à tenir la matière de garnissage.
La tige 3 est creuse et ouverte à au moins une des extrémités
et par exemple l'extrémité 3a, afin de pouvoir la glisser sur la branche 2a de la ferrure 2, ferrure de profil en coupe angulaire et par exemple carré s'inscrivant dans un cercle de diamètre quasi identique
au diamètre du creux intérieur de la tige 3 de manière que celle-ci glissée de force sur la ferrure, soit parfaitement et définitivement maintenue,
en effet, il n'y a plus lieu de prévoir, au démontage du dispositif, de retirer la tige 3 de la ferrure 2. La tige 3 comporte dans l'exemple choisi, deux bourrelets 6 placés aux environs de ses extrémités, on aurait pu toutefois prévoir un seul bourrelet 6 placé par exemple au centre ou à une extrémité, ou encore en lieu et place des bourrelets, des gorges.
Le cylindre 4 (fig. 2) présente deux tubulures 7, de diamètre intérieur légèrement supérieur au diamètre extérieur de la tige 3, comportant chacune une gorge 8 qui lorsque l'on glisse le cylindre 4 sur la tige 3, viennent en face des bourrelets 9 de cette tige 3. Si la tige 3 comporte des gorges dans ce cas, les tubulures comporteront un bourrelet, de même si la tige ne comporte qu'une gorge ou un bourrelet et/ne prévoit qu'une tubulure et un bourrelet ou une gorge.
Les tubulures 7 seront de préférence pourvues partiellement d'entailles longitudinales 9 de manière à faciliter, par une certaine élasticité, le passage d'un bourrelet 6 dans une gorge 8.
Pour tenir les tubulures 7 dans le cylindre 4, tenant compte qu'il doit être ouvert à ces deux extrémités pour permettre d'y placer les flasques 5, on prévoit à l'intérieur du cylindre des parois verticales 10 formant ou non une seule et même pièce avec le cylindre extérieur et les tubulures réalisées d'un seul tenant par la technique d'injection en matière plastique rigide.
Pour maintenir les flasques latérales 5 sur lescôtés du cylindre 4, tenant compte que le diamètre extérieur des flasques 5 est inférieur à celui du diamètre intérieur du cylindre 4, au moins à son entrée de manière à pouvoir prendre l'extrémité de la matière de revêtement (non représenté) au moyen des flasques 5,^/^contre ensuite ce diamètre intérieur du cylindre 4 est un peu plus réduit et présente donc un rebord 11 dont le diamètre, inférieur est lui juste -.; supérieur à celui extérieur des flasques 5 de sorte que ceint-ci s'emboîtent ainsi fermement dans les cotés du cylindre 4. Les flasques 5 comportent une large ouverture , trou.Il laissant passer facilement la ti;;e 3.
Le moyen de préhension ou manche 1 du dispositif se termine, du côté de sa fixation à la ferrure 2, en forme de moise s'évasant vers l'ex-

regard, un trou 12 de forme identique en profil en coupe à celui de
la ferrur 2 de sorte que le manche soit parfaitement fixé sur la ferrure,

rapport au cylindre 4 de sorte à trouver un équilibre parfait au dispositif.
Comme représenté cette ferrure 2, essentiellement dans le but d'alléger le dispositif, aura une membrure 2b partielle, - c'est-à-dire ne s'étendant pas sur toute la longueur du cylindre 4, il pourrait en être de . même d'ailleurs de l'autre membrure 2a en particulier si l'on ne prévoit qu'une tige partielle 3 par rapport à la longueur du cylindre 4, celui-ci pouvant dans ce cas n'être solidarisé à celle-ci que par une seule gorge ou bourrelet. Le cylindre 4 pour sa part peut être prévu en une pièce ou deux (non représenté) s'emboftant partiellement l'une dans l'autre.
Ainsi qu'on l'a indiqué, les différentes pièces constituant le dispositif seront réalisées de préférence en matière plastique rigide à l'exception toutefois de la ferrure dont la forme impose semble-t-il le recours au métal, il pourrait en être de même éventuellement d'autres pièces et par exemple de la tige 3.
L'invention n'est pas limitée à la forme de réalisation représentée ni à celles décrites et l'on ne sortirait pas de son cadre en y apportant des modifications.
REVENDICATIONS
1. Dispositif pour l'application de peinture et matière similaire
selon la demande de brevet principal n[deg.] 0/182078 du 26 octobre 1977
caractérisé en ce que la tige circulaire en matériau rigide de préférence
en matière plastique rigide est creuse et comporte au moins un bourrelet ou gorge circulaire en un endroit quelconque de sa longueur mais de préférence près de l'une de ces extrémités, cette tige constituant l'axe
de rotation, et les deux cylindres en matière plastique rigide s'emboîtant partiellement de manière à ne former qu'une pièce ou un cylindre d'une
pièce qui est munie à l'intérieur d'au moins une tubulure ayant un
diamètre interne légèrement supérieur au diamètre externe de la tige,
tubulure comportant un nombre identique de gorge ou bourrelet circulaire susceptible de s'adapter aux bourrelets ou gorges de la tige, et en plus
une ferrure en forme de U à membrures parallèles mais de longueur
identique ou non présentant un profil en coupe angulaire, et dont
une membrure est destinée à y glisser de force et maintenir la tige et l'autre perpendiculairement, le manche de préhension, de préférence en une
matière plastique rigide.

The embodiments according to the present improvement retain the same advantages of balance and ease of assembly while
by no longer requiring the use of two separate cylinders, only one being sufficient, which significantly reduces the manufacturing costs, in particular by the fact that one can provide a packing material in a single one � .. -

To this end, the device for applying paints and similar materials according to the present improvement is characterized in that
that the circular rod made of rigid material, preferably of rigid plastic material, is hollow and comprises at least one circular bead or groove at any location along its length but preferably near one of these ends, this rod constituting the axis of rotation,
and the two rigid plastic cylinders partially interlock so as to form a single piece or a one piece cylinder which is provided inside with at least one tubing having an internal diameter slightly greater than the external diameter of the rod, tubing comprising an identical number of circular grooves or beads capable of adapting to the beads or grooves of the rod, and in addition a shaped fitting
of U with parallel members but of identical length or not having an angular sectional profile and of which one member is intended to slide there by force and to hold the rod and the other perpendicularly, the handle preferably of rigid plastic material.
Preferably, the frame on which the rod slides will be of relatively substantial length so as to support the rod
over its entire length, especially if the latter extends over its entire length

Referring to Figure 1, we see the different parts of the device, by 1 the handle or gripping handle, by 2 the fitting, by 3 the hollow rod constituting the axis of rotation, by 4 the cylinder intended to be lined in a known manner by means of a packing material enabling paint to be taken out of a container and to apply it to a surface to be covered, by the side flanges intended to hold the packing material.

The cylinder 4 (fig. 2) has two pipes 7, with an internal diameter slightly greater than the external diameter of the rod 3, each comprising a groove 8 which when the cylinder 4 is slid on the rod 3, come opposite the beads. 9 of this rod 3. As indicated, the various parts constituting the device will preferably be made of rigid plastic, with the exception, however, of the fitting, the shape of which apparently requires the use of metal, it could be even possibly other parts and for example of the rod 3.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown or to those described and one would not depart from its scope by making modifications thereto.
