<EMI ID=1.1>
<EMI ID=2.1>
- la figure 1 est une vue latérale en coupe d'une forme de réalisation du dispositif suivant l'invention ;
- la figure 2 est, à plus grande échelle, une vue en perspective d'une partie de la tige munie du tube capillaire illustrée à la figure 1 ;
- la figure 3 est, également à plus grande échelle, une coupe d'une variante de la tige portant le tube capillaire montré aux figures 1 et 2 ;

<EMI ID=11.1>
<EMI ID=12.1>

<EMI ID=19.1>

a predetermined volume for medical analysis, for example blood tests.
Devices are known for drawing human blood from small incisions or punctures, using a capillary tube, in which
the blood rises automatically by capillary action. These devices have the advantage of allowing the collection of well-defined quantities of blood, which is very important for the accuracy of the results of the analyzes to which the blood sample thus taken is subjected. However, the known devices frequently have the drawback of only difficultly allowing the evacuation of the blood sample taken from the capillary tube.
The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks and relates to a device intended

is, according to another feature of the invention, integral with a stopper of a container, preferably cylindrical, intended to contain a reagent.
To prevent the capillary tube worn by
the aforementioned rod may come into contact with the reagent or another product contained in the aforesaid container before taking a blood sample by this
capillary tube, the container can be divided, by means of internal partitions, into two compartments, one of which is intended to contain a reagent or other product and the other of which is intended to contain the rod provided with the capillary tube.
Other features and details of the invention will emerge from the following detailed description.
in which reference is made to the accompanying drawings, which show, by way of purely illustrative examples, embodiments of the device according to the invention.
In these drawings:
- Figure 1 is a sectional side view of an embodiment of the device according to the invention;
- Figure 2 is, on a larger scale, a perspective view of part of the rod provided with the capillary tube illustrated in Figure 1;
- Figure 3 is, also on a larger scale, a section of a variant of the rod carrying the capillary tube shown in Figures 1 and 2;

In these different figures, the same reference notations designate identical elements.
Figures 1 and 2 show an embodiment of the device according to the invention comprising a rod 1, provided at its free end 2 with a capillary tube 3 coaxial with the rod 1 and opening into a chamber 4 formed in the latter. The chamber 4 has two lateral openings 5 diametrically opposed to each other, as well as a deflector element designated by the reference notation 6.
The rod 1 is integral with a plug 7 mounted,
removably, on one end 8 of a cylindrical container 9 containing a determined quantity of a reagent or other liquid product 10.
The stopper 7, as well as the bottom 11 of the container 9 are each provided with a coaxial stud or end piece 12
to this container.
The device illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 is used as follows.
After removing the cap 7 bearing the

contained in compartment 23 is prevented, so
that it is not necessary to remove the rod 1 ....
and the capillary tube 3 of the reagent 10, before taking a blood sample.
The device illustrated in Figures 4 to 6 is used as follows:
The stopper 7 carrying the rod 1 and the capillary tube 3 are removed from the tubular container 9, then a predetermined volume of blood is withdrawn in the capillary tube 3 in the manner described above. After removing
the stopper 18 of the end 17 of the tubular container
9 and having put it on the end 8 of the container, the compartment 23 containing the reagent 10 is closed using the stopper 7, the capillary tube 3 of which is carried

blood sample taken. We can then ensure
mixing this blood sample with the reagent or other product 10 in the closed compartment 23.
To ensure that the rod 1 carrying the capillary tube 3 is correctly engaged in a space 24 of one or the other of the compartments 22
and 23, the plugs 7 and 18 are provided with a boss 25 which is intended to be engaged in a notch 26 provided at the end edges of the tubular container 9, as shown in FIG. 6. Thanks to this system, any contact is prevented. of the rod 1 of its capillary tube 3 with the partitions 19, 20 and 21 when the stopper 7 carrying this rod 1 is in place on one or the other of the ends of the tubular container 9.
Figures 7 and 8 show another form
embodiment of the cylindrical container 9 divided into two compartments. In this embodiment, a curved partition 27 is provided in the cylindrical container 9, this partition having its longitudinal edges in contact with the internal surface 28 of the tubular container 9, so as to form a kind
tunnel 29 in the container 9. At one of its ends, this tunnel 29 is closed by a partition 30, while it is open at its other end, conne irontré at 31. A third partition 32 which, all conne the partition 30, is perpendicular to the axis of the tubular container 9 is provided in the plane of the opening 31
of the tunnel 29, this partition 32 closing the entire section of the tubular container 9, with the exception of said opening 31.
Thanks to the partitions 27, 30 and 32, the tubular container 9 is divided into two compartments, just like the container 9 of FIGS. 4 and 5.
Instead of providing several partitions, such as those designated by reference notations 19,

With reference notations 27, 30 and 32, it is possible, within the scope of the invention, to divide the tubular container into two compartments by a single internal partition or by two internal partitions. Thus, one can provide a single internal partition extending obliquely
inside the tubular container.
It is also possible, within the framework of the invention,
only provide a single partition as shown in Figure 9 which illustrates a device similar to that of Figure 4, except that the tubular container 9 is divided by a transverse partition 33 into two compartments 34 and 35.
