<EMI ID=3.1>

Tipping bucket transporter for glasses and cans.
The invention relates to a tilting bucket conveyor for heat sterilization processing in the canning industry, suitable for handling cans and canned glasses.
<EMI ID = 1.1>
heat treatment of some of the products processed in the canning industry and of products accepted for general consumption, after filling glasses or cans with them. The purpose of heat treatment, in the targeted products, is to create microbiological conditions such that prolonged storage of these products can be considered.
The sterilization processes take place in installations of different theoretical and constructive characteristics and, during these treatment processes, the glasses or boxes filled with the products to be sterilized and closed, are placed, - "in conveyor cups. The role of the bucket conveyors is to pass through the sterilization facility the products enclosed in the boxes or glasses.
Conveyor buckets should be made

can be inserted easily and that the enclosed product can, inside the sterilizer, be transported in various directions without the glasses or cans falling out of the cups during transport.
<EMI ID = 3.1>
product is in intensive contact with the heat treating agent and that the removal of the sterilized articles can be done in a simple manner and with reliable operation.
As for the bucket configuration
as a carrier, many solutions are known; the best-known type of bucket is the one in which the
bucket consists of two curved perforated plates
in semicircles; the position of the half-cups is fixed, both in the open state and in the closed state, by means of retaining springs.
There are also known configurations of buckets which are made of bent sheets, which have an angular cross section, are open at the top and which are closed
from the bottom of the bucket which is above the bucket in question. In another solution, the cup is also made of a bent plate, it has an octagonal cross section and it has an open front part.
On the other hand, a perforated tubular bucket is known which is driven along a path by two conveyor chains.
The drawback common to the buckets described below
<EMI ID = 4.1>
complicated, in that their exchange is linked to very

bucket transport must be carried out with relatively large radii of curvature.
The aim of the invention is to allow a rapid exchange of the cups, even in the event of a significant change in the dimensions of the glasses and cans containing the products to be sterilized, and that also the tilting
buckets in relation to the direction of transport is possible, which will prevent large radii of curvature.
Another object of the invention is to provide a construction based on the common principle of the single-row bucket conveyor and the two-row bucket conveyor, so that the buckets which follow one another in a single row installation - offer a perfect closure.
The conditions proposed above are satisfied by a bucket system which can be characterized by the fact that the bucket is provided with a perforated casing, formed in the longitudinal direction of one or more parts. Bucket units are built with arms that form a tow chain. The buckets are connected to the towing chain eccentrically, judiciously by means of articulated arms. The various interconnected buckets are associated with a path comprising rectilinear and / or curved sections which are arranged along the various extents of the buckets coupled to one another.

On the basis of the solution according to the invention, it is possible to develop installations in which a bucket assembly containing one or more buckets is associated with a journal.
In another example of an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the bucket is partially or totally limited by side surfaces made up of straight plates.

The side view of the tubular bucket is shown in Figure 2a, while Figure 2b shows the position taken by the bucket during the placement of the articles or their removal.
After filling - (or emptying), the tubular buckets 4 are obliged, by the inclined track section 6 to take the position shown in FIG. 2a, and this position is maintained by the rectilinear guides.
The buckets are filled and emptied in the usual way, with the help of a mechanical or pneumatic device.
Within a bucket unit, there may be one or more buckets; as an example, we have shown
in Figure 3a a bucket unit comprising a single bucket, in Figure 3b a two-bucket unit, and in Figure 3c a four-bucket unit.
In the solution according to FIGS. 4 and 5, the guiding of the tubular bucket 4 is obtained by the lateral tracks 5 which, in a single row arrangement, maintains the buckets 4 which maintain, in a single row arrangement, the cups 4, in the walls?, in the

<EMI ID = 16.1> The operating mode of the installation according to the invention is as follows:
In the canning industry, during the sterilization treatment, the installation is connected to the sterilizer in such a way that one of the ends
of the conveyor chain consisting of the buckets 4 enters the heat treatment plant, while at the other end or at another suitable place the glasses or cans can be put on the conveyor or removed during the installation process.
Thanks to the arrangement according to the invention, a continuous heat sterilization treatment can be obtained.
