Abstract
The apparatus is for converting hydraulic energy from the sea by utilising two plates one of which is fixed and one of which is free, but connected by an arm to a spherical float. The movement of the sea causes the relative movement of the float and the free plate to operate a series of pumps, from which energy may be extracted into mechanical power using pneumatic or hydraulic devices.
